We all know the very big and fancy pictures from Microsoft DeepZoom, or the never ending zoom-inside from NASA Worldwind or Google Earth. The DeepZoom controller gives you that ability inside of Unity3d.
This controller expands Unity3d beyond the 4K image/texture limitation. Now you can use very big pictures similar to Worldwind in your Unity projects. In our beta and in the final presentation you can zoom wayyyy in and use the touch inputs to 'drive' around the map. The source image is a 20,000 x 20,000 pixel image that has been sliced into about 1000 tiles. You can also rotate the map. You can watch a short howto video below.
